Vidwan. V.JOSEPH M.A (1929 -2002) was born in the little town Marthandam of Kanyakumari District in the state of Tamilnadu, India. He lost his father at his early age. Accepting and realising the teachings of Jesus Christ, he was baptised at the age of seventeen. In addition to his profession as a school teacher, he was preaching and teaching the good news for all. He was a good singer and a musician playing harmonium. He composed many songs through which he grasped the hearts of many towards Jesus Christ. He was an author, editor and publisher of a Tamil Christian monthly magazine called “Theerkatharisana Vilhakkam”. He was blessed with a wife, two daughters, sons-in-law (Professors and Physicians) and grand children. He entered into eternal life in the year 2002.
